Stand-up comedians Russell Peters and Faizon Love will star in the stoner buddy comedy “Ripped.”

Peters is taking a break from his Almost Famous World Tour to shoot the film. Alex Meneses, who is featured in Eva Longoria’s upcoming NBC show “Hot and Bothered,” will also star.

Story revolves around two stoners who smoke particularly strong weed and wake up some 30 years later when the world has changed. Brad Epstein is directing a screenplay by  Billiam Coronel.

Pelican Point Media has worldwide rights to finance, produce and distribute, and the film will be produced by Ike Suri, Epstein and Javier Chapa.

Peters appeared as a judge on the eighth season of “Last Comic Standing” and in Jon Favreau’s “Chef.” Love’s credits include “Couple’s Retreat,” “Zookeeper” and “Elf.”

Epstein produced “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past,” “Dan in Real Life” and “About a Boy.” He also served as president of production at Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Productions.

Suri, the co-CEO of Pelican Point Media, recently co-financed and exec produced “Cabin Fever: Reboot,” with Eli Roth and Cassian Elwes, and “Daughter of God,” with Keanu Reeves and Elwes. He’s also exec producing the upcoming film “The Brits Are Coming,” starring Uma Thurman.

Peters, a native of Canada, began performing comedy in 1989 in Toronto. He is repped by WME.
